Your Life is already Electric – Simply plug in!

Did You know that you have your very own power source? … And it’s available whenever you need?

Yet often, it lays dormant. Why is this so?

Motivation is a key driving force in your life. There are motivational Gurus here, there and everywhere.

How many of them do you take notice of? Probably not many would be my guess.

The same with You. You have your own motivational source within You, your very own charger. Yet you may take little notice of it.

However did you know that you can Simply plug in?

Energy. Action. Purpose. They all emanate from within.Energy.Action.Purpose.

So what will motivate you to do this? How about, fulfilling your potential? … Reason enough? [You’ve heard this 1000 times before I know, but it’s still relevant]

OR perhaps having all your dreams come true?

OR living a life that you always wanted? [again may sound Ho Hum but that’s not My problem … it’s Yours if you choose to ignore] Do you need any more convincing?

Sound fanciful? It’s not just a wave of the wand& all your dreams come true, however it is a flick of the switch to commence the chain of action. Plug in, take action … that’s the switch. Action will get you there … that’s not fanciful, it’s electric, energising and it’s real!

Occasionally you may need a kick in the butt, we all do at some point. If you are reading this now, please start to take notice of what You can do.[verbal buttkick]

I don’t expect you to have all the answers, I certainly don’t. However, to get anywhere or to change your current circumstances[ if you aren’t happy with them], you need to take action.

Whether that action comes from the heart or the head doesn’t matter. Overide your personal control systems if you have procrastination issues and take action now. That may be contacting someone for help. That may be getting hold of a book, podcast, blog post, DVD, CD that relates to your specific ”activating moment or intent”.

All of this is part of plugging in to your own power source, becoming fully charged [or at least part charged to start with].

I urge you to take that first step. Start the charging process and you will begin to “breathe” in the electricity. Further steps will then flow, if you struggle, help is always at hand.

You don’t need to live through ‘flat battery syndrome’ any longer.

Awareness. Self Belief. Self Confidence. These are 3 words that I associate with being ‘fully charged’. Are these words that You want attached to your nameplate?

I hope that they are. You can be Super charged and with no Kryptonite in sight.

Simply plug in. Start the process … Today.

And when you do …

Loving this! Yes we are energy and so is everything else. Why not maximize it by plugging into it more consciously!

Agree with that Melissa .. Thank You.

    Hi David,

Wonderful post, indeed! I certainly do feel energised after reading your post. What a great way of looking at it.

As you say, we have a power source that we can all plugin into and set the ball in motion. The point you made about changing our circumstances got me thinking about something. Our circumstances are never fixed. They might feel like they are. However, once we’ve turned on the ‘switch’ the first step towards change has been taken.

    Thank you.

      Thanks Hiten …
Flick the switch and plug in!

This is it in a nutshell David. As Tony Robbins says: “To kill anxiety, take massive action.” So many are afraid that the action will be the wrong action and therefore a waste of time – but there is NO waste of time. Everything is a learning experience and everything leads to another thing. Wasn’t it Columbus that thought he’d discovered the East Indies? But look what he found instead. 🙂

My problem is trying to find the energy. I think I’m still considered middle-aged (59) and I don’t think turning 60 later this year is going to make me ancient by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m limited in the area of energy because of the disability. Most things that I do end up taking double the effect and time from me because of this daily challenge I face. Are there ways to work around this obstacle? If there is, I haven’t found it yet.

You seem to have plenty of energy for your writings Glynis. Apart from physical energy, much of the components to ‘feeling energised’ come from your mental aspect/views on your life. Age is no barrier [I’m also 59]. Limiting thoughts I have found are energy draining. Simply thinking that you can’t do this or that because of … [x,y &z] stop you & drain you. Look at your positives and energise yourself with those & spend less time on your limiting thoughts … would be my tip.
Thank You for taking the time to contribute.
