5 must have Inspirational Goals

Now, that’s a title that is going to need some backing up.

Goals, goals, goals this is something you hear about wherever you go. It seems that you can’t escape someone talking about goals.

So, why would you want to read on then?

I just ask you to be patient. This is a different set of goals. These have the ability to define You and enhance your Life’s journey.

Here we go:  5 Goals with ready made in- built Inspiration which will be a bonus when included in your Life plan.

1.Go climb a Mountain

What is your personal “Mountain”?  Is it a goal that you would have [previously] seen as impossible?

Your “mountain” will be different to mine however you will have one, just like me. This may be something that you have dreamed about, wondered about or maybe dismissed several times as being fanciful.

The latter, probably more times than you care to remember. But no more. The “mountain” still beckons. You see it as impossible.  However  this is what should drive you on.  There is no more impossible. Take up the challenge. Start climbing.

2.Be known far & wide as a best performer

Sounds simple enough. “Known” is the key here. Perhaps we could enhance this a little and add “relied upon”. Be known and relied upon as someone who gives their best … all the time.

Now that’s not an outlandish or mind boggling statement on it’s own. When you dig deeper however, you can imagine how far reaching an effect this will have. Someone [You] being that well known as a person who can be always relied upon  to give their best … no matter what.

That’s a decent notch in your belt for sure.Inspirational Goals Blog Post

3.Be a ‘rock’ [for your significant others]

Being a “rock” means reliability and strength … strength of character and dependability. A sounding board, a mentor … someone who can be sought out for wisdom, truth and doing the right thing … and setting and leading by example.  Positioning yourself in this way will be an inspiration for many.

4.Do everything with Meaning

What does this really mean? For me it is about extracting the best out of everything that I do. It is being purposeful with my thoughts, my actions, my loves in Life. It’s about spending time on the things that will matter to me, my family and to others with whom I come in contact.

You may have different “meaning” in your Life. However I suggest to you, make everything that you do throughout your Life, count for something positive.

5.Create a journey that others will write about

Ooh-la-la. Wow, this is a biggie. Just imagine having the story of your Life as a best seller.

Well if not,  a story that is told over and over. Your journey[Adventure is better] may be a template for others to draw inspiration and motivation from. Your journey may have broken fresh ground or it may have covered well worn paths in a new, invigorating way.

Your journey will not only have set your Life alight, it will have had many others watching in awe.

If You want some Inspirational Goals then please consider adding these to Your list.

    Hi David,

Great suggestions here. I love climb a mountain. Sometimes when we have goals that are challenging, we put them aside for another day, but great reminder to take on the hard stuff, even when it feels frustrating. There is that wonderful sense of accomplishment when we do. Thank you!

…And thank you Cathy for being here, much appreciated.

These are great goals David. I’m not a goalie type of gal, but I get these, especially being a rock. Which speaks to me of staying in integrity with who you are, how you speak, what you do.

In my experience when we assist others towards their abundance and success or whatever their attention is on, we receive what we give in spades.

That might not be what you intended when you wrote it…but your words totally evoked that for me.

    Love Elle

      Hi Elle,
Words speak in many different ways. If that’s what you got from it then that’s fine with me. Thankyou for being here and contributing.

Yep. I’ve knocked over a few but still have other mountains left to climb. Baby steps. Baby steps. Thanks David for the well timed encouragement 🙂

Keep stepping Jean … and I will keep on encouraging. Thanks for commenting.

    Hi David,

    Wonderful post, mate!

The point you made about being known far and wide as the best performer really struck a chord with me! There is just something so endearing about a person who gives their best in what they do.

    Thank you.
