6 steps to Glory [part 1]

 

In 2014 ….. Walk with Me. Exercise your mind with Me. Get stronger with Me. That’s what will happen when you Work with MePlease join with Me in meaningful conversation right here ….. scroll down page to ‘Expression Session’.

  1. Choose your best direction.
  2. Imagine what the finish line will look and feel like.
  3. Have a Mentor.
  4. Draw up a Life Plan.
  5. Motivate yourself to take each step.
  6. Take action and follow through on your previous steps.

Each of these steps can be commenced at any stage of your life. They can be put into action when previous strategies have failed. They can be put into place when the circumstances in your life alter and you need to start again. [like a new/fresh direction]

They are adaptable to a wide range of circumstances. They work the best when kept as a ‘boxed set’. Each step anchors the others.

It’s easy to  get out of step  in life. I’ve tripped up a few times and each time I struggled to determine how “to put it all back together”.

Stepping out is the best feeling. Knowing [as much as possible] which steps to take, adds to your belief. The support of a mentor who can spark or add to your own motivation will help you take the right action and keep you following through if you are unsure of your direction.

If at the moment, your steps are a bit unsure or wobbly, have a close look at the 6 steps above. See if they can work with and for, You.

I’m not going to give you short cuts and generalisations. Each of these steps is there for a reason.

Each step also has  steps within the step.  You can tailor them to suit or seek out someone to guide you through the process.

    I really like your 6 points. And the order they’re in is perfect too. The one that really speaks to me most is #6 and “follow through”. That’s really where the rubber meets the road. Great post!

    My blog is only about 3 months old, but I’ve seen you around. I’m going to check out more of your site. It’s looks awesome!

      Thank You Rob, I appreciate your comment and kind words. Glad you agreed with the ‘order’ … I think it works best that way however there’s no reason why you can’t tinker with it to suit your own purpose … I’d leave #6 where it is though.

    Somehow I’ve fudged on #2 and 4. I just can’t imagine myself at the end result, at least not yet. As for a plan — the only thing I’ve done is set aside a specific 2 hours per day to work on it. This doesn’t mean this is the only time for the work but it is the time I MUST work on it. So far things are working well in this fashion and I feel motivated to keep on moving forward.

      There may be a series of ‘end results’ Glynis. You’ve set aside time each day for your plan … I’d say that’s moving in the right direction … keep stepping and thanks for being here.
